I eat my carbohydrate in the afternoon during the weekend or at lunch break in small portion size.

Eating more of what the earth produce is the best healthiest options ever. 

When you do, You have to know your portion because small is plenty. Below is 3 scoops of pounded yam cos weekend afternoons are for African superfood followed by a five kilometres run to utilised the calories.  If you love pounded yam or any swallow every now and again you have to move your body, that is the sacrifice. You can not do it without exercise.




I love to eat Pounded yam from the original source , from a tuber of yam. Yam is a good source of vitamin C  with 25% of the daily value that is responsible for fighting infections such as cold and flu and helps in healing wound quickly, anti-aging, strong bones, and healthy immune function. It also provides good amounts of fibre, potassium, magnesium and metabolic B vitamins

Replacing most of Your carbohydrates with healthy protein packed grains are very good idea. Eat more of quinoa ,bulgar, whole grain rice or whole wheat pasta, buckwheat. I get all mine in the fruit and health shop.

Water and weight management. Water intake is very essential for our overall health and wellness. Water helps maintain the balance of our body fluids. Our body is composed of about 60% water. The function of our bodily fluids includes help with digestion and elimination , absorption, circulation , transportation of nutrients and maintenance of body temperature. Add some fruit ,vegetable and herbs to you water for great taste and great detox benefits. Detox water has the power  to remove toxins and reduce inflammatory from the body .
